Warehouse Team Leader Mirfield, Yorkshire
Qualtech Resourcing is working with a large successful manufacturing business who are a market leader in their chosen field producing innovative quality products for customers all over Europe.
With strong growth forecast for the next few years they are currently recruiting personnel in key areas to help drive this growth and are currently looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their business.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out plans set out by the business to compete all activities while meeting warehouse targets
- Ensure accurate picking of all orders
- Work within a team to meet overall KPI’s
- Responsible for all stock management including stock allocation and checking stock in and out
- Advise of stock shortages/damages in a timely manner
- Create individual pallet manifests
- Incident reporting
- Responsible for Health and Safety in your area
- Performing manual tasks i.e heavy lifting
- Must be able to cope with intricate processes
- Some Fork Lift Duties
- Delegating workloads and jobs to staff
- Overseeing the good in and despatch process
- Reporting to the Production/Operations manager
- Lead and motivate a team
- Conduct staff appraisals and set KPI’s
Skills/Experience:
- Management/Supervisory experience in a similar environment
- At least 5 Years’ Experience within a fast paced warehouse environment
- In date Counterbalance license
- Good understanding of warehouse procedures
- Good administration skills
- Good organisation skills
- Experience working in a despatch environment and movement of stock
This role is working 6-2 and 2-10, however being a management role flexibility is required by the candidate as you will be responsible for the smooth running of the warehouse while on your shift. This role can be very hands on at time and offers a very competitive salary for the right candidate.
